XRAY is proud to announce that Swedish top off-road racer Henrik Nilsson joins XRAY team to race the XB9. Henrik is a multiple Swedish cup winner, multiple Swedish championship podium finisher. Henrik is a well-known and respected driver in Sweden and will give be a new force in the XRAY team in Nordic.

Henrik says: "I am very happy to join up with Team XRAY Sweden for the 2013 season. My focus will be set on the national races and cups in Sweden and will try his very best to be a top contender for the Swedish championship. I would like to extend a sincere thanks to my previous sponsors for whom I have raced for the six last seasons. Now I have been looking forward to this new challenge with Team Xray Sweden."

Henrik will in 2013 attend all the regional and national races including:

PROTOform PFR18 1:8TR

2011 was a spectacular year for PROTOform in the 1/8th IC Nitro On-Road class. Now only did 8 A-Main finalists at the IFMAR WORLDS in Homestead Florida chose the P909 body, but the other 2 A-Main drivers chose the PROTOform R15, which ran the quickest lap times of the entire event. In the end, Robert Pietsch brought home the very deserving win and trophy.

We decided to incorporate what we felt were the best characteristics of these two world class bodies to create the PROTOform PFR18. Loosely modeled after the car that conquered the 24HR of LeMans, this body style has a few tricks of it's own as well. There are a couple more molded in body stiffening contours to make the body more consistent.

The EFRA legal (#31525) body conforms to all ROAR/IFMAR body rules.

Available in 3 thicknesses - .040 Lexan® (regular weight), .030 Lexan® (light weight) and .025 Lexan® (lightest weight) "Pro-Lite" for the expert racers. This body has a protective outer film, body side-stiffeners (w/hardware) and comes with a large PROTOform decal.
 
It's sure to be seen on many winner's podiums this season!

PROTOform SRS-N 1:10NT

For all you racers that are preparing for the 2011 IFMAR IC Sedan WORLDS in Thailand, here's a new body you might want to check out - the PROTOform SRS-N 200mm sedan. The pre-season testing done by select PROTOform team drivers has shown that the body is a genuine performer. Robert Pietsch used the SRS-N to TQ for the PRE-WORLDS race in Bangkok in January, and JJ Wang also used this new body to win the China Fortune (Fa Cai) Nitro Championships. Paul Lemieux and DJ Apolero finished and impressive 1st and 2nd in the 2012 Ft Meyers Florida Winternationals Nitro Sedan A-Main using the SRS-N racebody.

The EFRA legal PROTOform SRS-N (#2047) provides great steering input while maintaining excellent stability. It features state-of-the-art aerodynamics as well as excellent detail. It fits all the current 200mm gas sedan chassis and is available in PRO-Lite as well as Lite Weight options. It comes with protective film, window masks and decal sheet. Oversize nylon wing hardware is also included.

The first year of the all-new RX8 has been very exciting and successful. This all-new project presented a challenging task for Team XRAY. We introduced the RX8 to the racing world and set our sights on getting awesome results and achievements world wide including winning the Winternats, several national titles as well as being a finalist at its first Euros and Worlds.

Development at XRAY never stops, nor does our pursuit of perfection. The 2012 spec of the RX8 brings forth all the best from the RX8 platform and adds several refinements and improvements to make the already successful car even more reliable and have increased performance and handling.

• All-new narrower chassis with more cutouts is designed to provide more flex for increased steering and traction. The chassis features an increased range of different engine position adjustments to allow the fitting of all standard engines.

• All-new radio plate helps to increase traction, steering and flex which make the car easier to drive.

• All-new clutch system gives increased durability and features an all new stronger and stiffer clutchbell, yellow clutch shoe, and new flat clutch disk.

• New conical clutch washers for consistent performance.

• New front and rear arms feature integrated graphite extensions for optimized shock mounting positions.

• New narrower front lower and upper arms allow for a narrower track width to gain more steering.

• New steering blocks feature all-new graphite extensions for new optimized Ackermann positions, providing increased steering characteristics.

• New super lightweight 2-speed shaft with (5mm ID, 8mm OD) for increased durability and reliability.
